Another picspam for
picspammy's 'Illustrate a Song' challenge. This spam came out from two main reasons: 1) I can't get this song out of my head. I have a love for boppy, 50s era type songs. I also love songs that are ironically chirpy. 2) There's a girl in the video who looks like Bennett Halverson. I also thought it would be lots of fun. As cute and psychopathic as Bennett and Topher are, it's a bit of a bad start to a relationship when one person attempts to have someone killed, and the other person knocks the first person out. But I still love them. Furthermore, Bennett and Caroline's schoolgirl lesbian relationship was going to be a bit of an issue if Topher and Bennett wanted to go about having a cute, psychopathic relationship anytime in the future. So when your prospective love interest is battling bitter feelings about your  ( Fuck you! and fuck her, too! )
A picspam for
picspammy's challenge, 'Illustrate a Song'. I chose River and Simon from Firefly to go along with Sia's 'The Fight'. Initially I wanted to focus simply on River's growth throughout the series and film, but Simon wiggled his way in. And, of course, with anything I do with River and Simon, there did wind up being a bit of an, er, edge to it, if you will (but hey, even Simon ships with his sister). However, this wasn't the key point to the whole spam. This is meant to be River and Simon finding their place on the ship and in the universe. They rely on one another, River particularly.  ( we are born we are born we are born we are born we are born )
Parrish lives in the slums, known as The Tert. Vivacity is north, and to the east is a supposedly-unknown place known simply as Dis. In the first novel, Parrish is set up for the murder of a media personality, Razz Retribution, and is infected with a virus known as the Eskaalim. While trying to find out the true murder of Razz, she battles against the virus that feeds of her adrenaline and is setting about turning her into a monster. The second novel takes her to Dis, where she discovers the the media is experimenting on the population there, known as the Mo-Vay, and in the third novel, Parrish finds herself in Vivacity and finally facing in the creature inside of her. I decided to cast only my favourite characters in the series, otherwise it would add up to several dozen. The world they live in is very multicultural, but it's also very cut off from the world. At one point, Parrish claims to be from the west, and nobody particularly knows about it. The US is known simply as Merika and once again, nobody knows much about it. Everybody is stuck and know nothing about their past, except for what the media tells them.  ( credits ) |
